Mr Altaf Hussain, MQM founder and leader, has highly praised and paid tribute to the workers, office bearers, and the mothers and sisters for collecting the hides and skins of sacrificial animals despite all the State brutalities, at the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha for the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF). He said that to prevent the volunteers of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation from collecting hides and skins, they were arrested, tortured in the police stations, truckloads of hides and skins were confiscated, even the female volunteers of KKF were not spared, they too were arrested and detained in the police stations and they were degradingly treated. The State sponsored Haqiqi terrorists under the patronage of the Government and along with the police officials targeted the MQM workers and the volunteers of the KKF. They even resorted to target firing and unleashed a reign of terror in the city. Despite all these repressive actions, I salute the courage and determination displayed by the workers and the members of the public. He also highly praised the Members of the Co-ordination Committee, Elected Senators, Members of the Assemblies, Organising Committee, Muttahida Organising Committee, Labour Division, APMSO, Ladies Wing, Medical Aid Committee, Patient Aid Committee, Legal Aid Committee, Facts Finding Committee, News Committee, Video Committee, Photo Section, Photostat Section, Telephone Board Committee, Nine Zero Reception Committee, Nine Zero Organising Committee, all the Members of the Elders Wing, all the office bearers and workers of zones, sectors and units, all the zones of Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Sanghar and Sukkur Zone, other wings of the party, volunteers of KKF and particularly my determined, loyal and brave workers and the public. Moreover, he highly praised and paid tribute to the members of Ladies Wing for working along side their brothers with determination and courage. Mr Altaf Hussain also praised all the righteous people, the mothers, sisters, elders and the members of the public for displaying their courage and supporting the KKF, and collecting the hides and skins of the sacrificial animals and transporting it to the KKF. He said that it has been proved from the courageous act of the public that despite all the State repression and atrocities, their determination cannot be broken because it is our aim to achieve our objectives despite all the oppression and to continue our struggle.
