London - 8 March 1999
According to the eyewitnesses and the family members, today, around 4.45 a.m. Pakistan Time (9.45 a.m. GMT), the personnel of Liaquatabad Police Station, Karachi raided the houses of the MQM workers Farid Ahmed Khan and Shamim Ahmed Khan and arrested them. Farid Ahmed Khan was the cousin of Shamim Ahmed Khan.
Once again the police

arrests and claimed it to be the "Police Encounter".
The bodies of the victims were then dumped at "Jahnda
Chowk", Ward No. 164, Liaquatabad, Karachi. The victims legs
and hands were tied behind their backs. Farid Ahmed Khan was the
