HURRIYAT LEADERS VISIT TO PAKISTAN IS A GOOD OMEN FOR KASHMIR
RESOLUTION – ALTAF HUSSAIN

London-3 June 2005-Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) termed the visit of the leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference to Pakistan a milestone. He said that Kashmir issue could never be resolved without genuine participation of the Kashmiri leadership who represent the interests and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. 

Mr Altaf Hussain further added that arrival of the Kashmiri leadership would open new floodgates in harnessing confidence-building measures and would facilitate peaceful settlement of bilateral disputes including Kashmir and would also help bringing both countries closer.
