The Federal and provincial governments should ensure fool proof security for the esteemed shrines of Data Darbar and other Saints: Altaf Hussain

Telephonic conversation with the distinguished leaders of Ahl-e-Sunnat Jamat  Allama Syed Shah Tarab ul Haq Qadri and Haji Hanif Tayyab.

Founder and Leader of MQM, Mr Altaf Hussain had a comprehensive and detailed telephonic discussion with the leaders of Jamat Ahl-e-Sunnah, Allama Syed Shah Turab ul Haq Qadri and Haji Hanif Tayyab. The tragic event of Data Darbar was discussed and Mr Altaf Hussain expressed his profound condolences to the victims of the Data Darbar tragedy. Mr Altaf Hussain pointed out that this attack on Data Darbar was a national tragedy and a mater of grief for the whole nation.

Thus it is incumbent upon, the Federal and provincial governments to ensure fool proof security for the esteemed shrines of Data Darbar and other Saints. He further stated that all level headed Muslims, who love peace and brother hood, must come together for the security of their places of worship and shrines.  The followers of all other faiths should do the same. At the same time people should be vigilant to spot any suspicious person around their respective place of worship in order to thwart any future terrorist attacks.

Mr Altaf Hussain reiterated the fact that not only the religious extremism is dangerous for the country’s integrity; rather it is also a threat to the global Muslim fraternity. Hence all persons from all the religions should come together and work towards the eradication of religious extremism and intolerance.  The MQM is trying to achieve this. Allama Syed Shah Tarab ul Haq Qadri and Haji Hanif Tayyab fully agreed with what Mr Altaf Hussain had to say, they also assured him of their full and sincere support in this regard. The two respected clerics were of the view that the MQM is the only sincere party that is working against religious extremism, thus the people and Jamat Ahl-e-Sunnah stand behind the MQM in this noble and important endeavor.
