ATTACK ON LONDON IS INHUMAN AND BARBARIC

London-7 July 2005..Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) termed the attack on London as callous and barbaric deliberately designed to kill innocent members of the public.

Mr Altaf Hussain further added that today’s attack by the terrorists deserves severest condemnation and he hoped that the perpetrators of this barbarism would be arrested and the roots from where the terrorism stems would be identified and rooted out, at all costs.

Mr Altaf Hussain emphasised that the people of Pakistan, his party members, supporters and him stood shoulder to shoulder with the people of the United Kingdom in their testing time and ready to assist in the elimination of terrorism from the world, right from its roots. He prayed for the dead and for speedy recovery of the injured and has also written a personal letter to the Rt.Hon. Tony Blair, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on this national tragedy.
