To protest against the Genocide of Mohajir Nation in the urban centres of Sindh, southern Pakistan, MQM has organised hunger strike opposite the 10 Downing Street, London, the official residence of British Prime Minister, Rt. Hon, Tony Blair.
Today on the fourth day of the Hunger Strike, Dr. Saghir Ahmed Ansari, Member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh and Mr. Arshad Ullah, Member of MQM International Secretariat are observing token hunger strike opposite the 10 Downing Street.
Dr. Sahgir Ahmed Ansari MPA, and Mr. Arshad Ullah also presented a petition at 10 Downing Street.
The strike started at 10 a.m. London Time, with Dr. Saghir Ansari and Mr. Arshad Ullah sitting to observe the hunger strike opposite the residence of British Prime Minister.
Several persons from all walks of life visited the hunger strike camp and signed the petition to stop the genocide the Mohajir Nation. The visitors included British citizens as well foreigners from all over the world. They took key interest in the worsening situation of human rights in Pakistan and condemned the persistent process of Genocide carried out against the Mohajir Nation.
