MQM GLOBAL PROTES -- HUNGER STRIKE

Today,
the MQM commenced its hunger strike opposit the 10 Downing
Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister Tony
Blair. Mr. Zulfiquar Haider, Member of the Provincial Assembly of
Sindh and Mr. Javed Kazmi of MQM International Secretariat
observed the token hunger strike.
The hunger strike camp was visited by many people from all walks of life. These visitors were informed of the brutalities and the ongoing genocide of the Mohajir Nation at the hands of the Nawaz Sharif Government.
Mr.
Zulfiquar Haider MPA and Mr. Javed Kazmi also submitted a written
petition to Prime Minister Tony Blair. In this petition they have
urged the Prime Minister to intervene and use his influence to
stop the Genocide of Mohajirs in Pakistan.
The MQM Hunger Strikers
protesting against the genocide of the Mohajir Nation in Karachi,
Sindh province, Southern Pakistan, opposite White House, Washington DC, Toranto, Montrial. The genocide is being committed by the Nawaz Sharif
Government.
