MQM WILL REMOVE THE INJUSTICES DONE TO THE POOR AND OPPRESSED PEOPLE: ALTAF HUSSAIN

TELEPHONIC CONVERSATION WITH OFFICE-BEARERS AND WORKERS OF ABBOTTABAD ZONE

LONDON: 5TH JANUARY 2012

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the MQM would remove the injustices being done to the oppressed and downtrodden people of the country for the past 65 years, including the Hazarewal. The MQM will continue to struggle for their rights. He said this while talking to the office-bearers of Abbottabad Zone and district committees on the telephone.

Mr Hussain gave heartiest congratulations to the people of Hazara on the resolution regarding the creation of Hazara and Seraiki provinces and said that the MQM believes in Realism and Practicalism. Altaf Hussain has fulfilled the promise that he had made with the people of Hazara.

Mr Hussain said that the MQM had proved its credentials of being the truly representative party of the poor and exploited people by presenting the resolution for Hazara and Seraiki provinces in the parliament. It was also evident that the MQM was making practical efforts for their rights.

Mr Hussain said that some parties were creating hindrances for the people of Hazara because of their vested interests. He said that the people of Hazara should pursue their peaceful struggle without getting perturbed by these parties.

Mr Hussain said that anti-people forces had leveled baseless allegations against the MQM in order to keep the poor, oppressed, and exploited people away from its just struggle. He said that the MQM had shown clearly as to who the real friends of the people of Hazara were and who were working against their interests.

Mr Hussain asked the office-bearers of the Abbottabad Zone to forge unity and respect poor workers. He asked them to shun pride and arrogance. He also commended the office-bearers and workers of the zone for remaining steadfast despite hardships and problems.

Workers thanked Mr Hussain on behalf of the people of Hazara and prayed for his health and long life.
