The Central Coordination Committee of MQM condemned the incident of indiscriminate firing by the armed terrorists of a Ethnic Party, which killed Jawaid Zahid, a area incharge of MQM Unit 132 of Qasba Aligarh sector.
In a statement the Central Coordination Committee stated that the armed terrorists of an Ethnic Party for no reason resorted to indiscriminate firing from the hills of Orangi Town on a Urdu speaking neighbourhood of A-1 area, of Qasba Aligarh Colony, Karachi, as a result of which Jawaid Zahid, office bearer of MQM Unit 132 shot dead. Not only this, the terrorists also targeted ordinary passerby, as a result of which Sufyan Hussain brother of MQM worker Iqbal Hussain sustained bullet injuries alongwith several other ordinary people.
The MQM Central Coordination Committee besides condemning the act of terrorism, alleged that the Ethnic Party in the garb of securing the rights of Pakhtoons by resorting to such acts is destroying peace in Karachi.
The armed terrorists of the same Ethnic Party citing excuse of the arrest of a criminal gangster, pelted stones on vehicles and respectively tortured Urdu Speaking passerby citizens in Dalmia Colony and Old Sabzi Mandi.
Central Coordination Committee of MQM further stated that the Ethnic Party has made it a routine, that it exploits any incident in Karachi to justify its, armed terrorists’ acts of let loosing a Hell on the innocent citizens of Karachi, the only aim is to derail and destroy peace in Karachi.
The Central Coordination Committee of MQM appealed to the President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishtrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take immediate notice of the terrorists activities of the said Ethnic Party, put a halt to it and order for arresting the culprits involved in the killings and torturing of MQM workers and other innocent citizens.

Founder and Leader of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) expressed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family of Jawaid Zahid, an office bearer of MQM Unit 132, Qasba Aligarh Colony Sector, who was brutally killed in an act of terrorism. Mr. Hussain shared his grief, prayed for the departed soul and grant of courage for bereaved family. Mr. Hussain also expressed his heartfelt sympathy with Sufayn Hussain, brother of MQM worker and prayed for his early recovery.
