Suicidal Bombing Attack in the Meeting of National Awami Party is a
Naked and Barbaric Act of Terrorism- Altaf Hussain

Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has severely condemned the suicidal bombing attack in the public gathering of the Awami National Party in Char Sadda and expressed his profound shock and sorrow on the death and injury as a result.

Mr Altaf Hussain said that this inhuman act deserves severest of condemnation. He demanded of the President Mr Pervez Musharraf, Caretaker Prime Minister Mr Mian Mohammad Soomro that effective security arrangements in public meetings of political parties were essential for holding peaceful elections, effective steps for safeguarding the lives and properties of the people were also essential. He said that the perpetrators must be arrested and exemplarily punished.

Mr Altaf Hussain paid his condolences to the bereaved family members and the leaders of the Awami National Party and prayed for early recovery of the wounded.
