BOMB ATTACK ON SAMJUAHTA EXPRESS IS A NAKED TERRORISM
AND COWARDLY ACT AS WELL AS A CONSPIRACY TO SABOTAGE ATMOSPHERE
OF FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN PAKISTAN AND INDIA -- ALTAF HUSSAIN

Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) vehemently condemning the bomb attack on Samjuahta Express killing scores of innocent people has termed this as an abhorrent and a cowardly act of terrorism. Mr Hussain said this act of terrorism deserves severest of condemnation and added that after a long time sincere efforts by both countries were made to establish friendly relationship as a result the Samjuahta Express service was restored facilitating the citizens of both countries to meet their friends and relatives.

Mr Altaf Hussain reiterated that the elements involved in bombing of Samjuahta Express or such terrorists and cowardice acts are declared enemies of mankind and demanded of both governments to take serious notice of the bomb attack on Samjuahta Express. He also demanded to constitute an independent Judicial Inquiry to arrests and dispense exemplary punishment to the perpetrators.     

Mr Altaf Hussain expressed his profound condolences to the members of the bereaved families and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the souls of the dead in paradise and grant strength to the family members and dear ones to endure the tragedy afflicted on them by this terrorist and cowardice act. He further added that all the workers and supporters of the MQM are standing shoulder to shoulder with the bereaved families in their testing times and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured.
