DEATH OF AIR CHIEF MARSHAL AND OTHER SENIOR AIR FORCE OFFICERS IS THE NATIONAL TRAGEDY AND IRREPARABLE LOSS OF THE COUNTRY AND THE NATION – ALTAF HUSSAIN

Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) said that the death of the Air Chief Marshal Musaf Ali Meer and other senior Air Force officers is a national tragedy and an irreparable loss to the country. He conveyed his profound and deepest condolence on the death of the Air Marshal and the senior Air Force officers to the President of Pakistan General Parvez Musharraf, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Mir Zafarullah Jamali and the bereaved families who have been devastated as a result of the death of their loved ones in the air crash.

Mr Altaf Hussain prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the souls of the deceased in “Janat-ul-Firdaus” and grant strength to the family members, the President General Parvez Musharraf and the people to endure this great loss inflicted as a result of the air crash. He further said that his words cannot fill the vacuum created by the death but could be a source of solace to the family members of the deceased and their loved ones.
