MQM Coordination Committee’s Condemnation at MQM leader Mr. Altaf Hussain’s Character Assassination

The members of the Central Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement has strongly condemned the news appearing in some newspapers in which a criminal arrested in Bhawalpur, a city of Punjab, in his confessional statement has mentioned the name of the founder and leader of the MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain.

The members of the Central Coordination Committee said that including Mr. Hussain’s name in the said statement is part of a conspiracy the subject of which is to assassinate the character of Mr. Hussain and to malign the image of the MQM.

The members the Central Coordination Committee said that after the recent visit of Punjab by the Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad to the perception and misunderstanding about the MQM coming to an end amongst the general public in Punjab. The fresh conspiracy of the anti - state forces is to malign the image of the MQM. 

The members of the Central Coordination Committee has directed the MQM Legal Aid Committee to immediately approach the courts under the legal and constitutional provisions.
