MURDER OF DANIEL PEARL WAS AN ABHORRENT AND BARBARIC ACT- ALTAF HUSSAIN

Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has termed the murder of Mr Daniel Pearl, journalist of the United States newspaper the Wall Street Journal as an abhorrent and barbaric act falling within the definition of the crimes against humanity. He further said that the grotesque murder and the perpetrators deserve severest condemnation from the civilised world.

Mr Altaf Hussain demanded of the President of Pakistan to immediately arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice forthwith.

Finally, Mr Hussain said that he was profoundly sad on the murder of Mr Daniel Pearl, he was sad for the widow and his unborn child. He prayed to Almighty God to rest the soul of Mr Daniel Pearl in peace and grant his bereaved family members and friends the strength to endure the wanton tragedy befallen on them.
