According to latest information received here Mohammad Yousuf and Murad were ambushed by the Haqiqi terrorists while they were riding on a motorcycle in Ward 'G' of Asif Colony in Karachi at around 5.30 p.m.
Eyewitnesses have identified the Haqiqi terrorists responsible for the murder of Mohammad Yousuf. They are:
1) Hassam (nephew of Maqsood),
2) Farhan alias Bhoora,
3) Rashid alias Babli and
4) Maqsood.
Details of the Victim:
Mohammad Yousuf, age 38 years, son of Master Abdul Kareem was the resident of Block-A, Hasrat Mohani Colony, Pak Colony, Karachi. He was married and leaves behind two widows, three sons, two daughters, both his parents, five brothers and six sisters. He was the Member of MQM Pak Colony Sector Committee. He was employed as Deputy Director Land (West) at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.

2.40 p.m. – London Time
Today, at around 5.30 p.m., Pakistan time, an MQM worker and Member of Helping Committee of Pak Colony Sector in Karachi, Mohammad Yousuf son of Abdul Kareem accompanied with Incharge of MQM Unit 186, Murad was going towards his residence at Hasrat Mohani Colony in Karachi where the Haqiqi terrorists opened indiscriminate fire upon them. As a result, Mohammad Yousuf died on the spot and Murad has been seriously injured. This was a pre-planned ambushed attack of the Haqiqi Terrorists in the protection of the personnel of the Government Intelligence Agencies to create a law and order situation in Karachi. Since early morning, the heavily armed Haqiqi Terrorists with lethal weapons have been roaming around the streets of Pak Colony Area, particularly the Hasrat Mohani Colony in Karachi.
We appeal to all the human rights organisations throughout the world including the Amnesty International to take note of the murder of Mohammad Yousuf under the patronage of Government Intelligence Agencies. Furthermore, we request you to condemn this act of ruthlessness and ask the Government to stop the support and the patronage of the Haqiqi Terrorists and make immediate arrests.
