Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani called the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Quaid Altaf Hussain today and discussed the country’s prevailing political situation over the telephone. Mr Altaf Hussain apprised the Prime Minister of the details of the Target Killing of the MQM worker Liaquat Ali Shah by the armed terrorists in Baldia Town, Karachi and expressed his concerns to the Prime Minister over the killings of the MQM workers in Karachi for the past few days.

Prime Minster Yousuf Raza Gilani expressed his profound sorrow with Mr Altaf Hussain over the target killing and assured him of an early arrest of the murderers.
