A DELEGATION OF MQM WILL VISIT INDIA SOON TO FINALISE MR ALTAF HUSSAINS INDIAN VISIT- CENTRAL CO-ORDINATION COMMITTEE

An MQM delegation would be visiting India soon to
formally finalise the forthcoming visit of Mr Altaf Hussain,
founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) to India.
This was agreed upon unanimously between the Members of the
Central Co-ordination Committee based in Pakistan and London, in
separate meetings held in Karachi and London. The meeting in
Karachi was also attended by the Members of the former National,
Provincial Assemblies and the Senate of Pakistan besides the
Members of the Central Co-ordination Committee while in London;
the Members of the International Secretariat were also present in
the meeting.
The Members also concluded that Mr Altaf Hussain must visit India
to pay homage to the blessed and revered saints Hazrat Khawaja
Nizamuddin Aulia RH and Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin
Chishti RH and meet the Indian Muslims. It was also
resolved in the meeting that Mr Altaf Hussain will meet the
people of India in general and the Indian rulers, leaders of the
political and religious parties, NGOs, religious scholars,
intellectuals, journalists and other members of the communities.
It was also decided in the meeting that the MQM delegation would
be visiting Delhi, Agra, Aligarh and other cities to make the
necessary arrangements to facilitate the visit of Mr Altaf
Hussain to India. It should be noted the Mr Altaf Hussain has
already received invitations from the caretakers of the shrines
of Hazrat Khawaja Nizamuddin Aulia RH and Hazrat
Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti RH and various NGOs and
Social and Civil Rights Organisations. The MQM Co-ordination
Committee would continue its sessions in Karachi and London on Mr
Altaf Hussains visit to India.
