TO FACE NEW CONSPIRACIES – ALTAF HUSSAIN
Karachi
– 30th August 2004
Mr
Hussain said that ideological Movements originate from the area where people are
being deprived of their rights and trapped in the clutches of oppressive system.
To crush such ideological movement, exploitative forces conspire to use various
malicious methods.
However, if the members of the movement are ideologically strong and
their affiliation is indisputable then such movements remain alive despite all
the oppression and conspiracies.
Mr
Hussain said that we have spread the awareness against oppression and injustices
and as a result a strong movement has come into being, which remains united
despite facing conspiracies. On 19 June 1992, an army operation was launches
against the Movement, thousands of our workers were martyred and faced
atrocities in various forms – but the workers and members of public remain
determined, the Movement was kept alive and those behind the conspiracies to
crush the MQM had to face defeat. Citing the examples of World War I and II and
the independence of British and French Colonies, Mr Hussain said that on
occasions the incidences and occurrences around the world might also trigger
success for such Movements. However, this success can only become the fate of
those true ideological Movements who keep alive and its member not only remain
steadfast but also keep revising and reinforcing its ideology and keep spreading
the ideological message.
Commenting
on the current state of affairs Mr Hussain said that the world is witnessing
rapid changes and is such situations it is our responsibility that for the
sustenance of the nation and better future for coming generations we must keep
the Movement alive because success is the fate of those Movements that remain
active despite conspiracies, oppression and atrocities. He said that the
“hidden hands” have accelerated their conspiracies against the Movement;
therefore, workers must be mentally and physically prepared to face the worse.
He emphasised that all those affiliated with the Movement must understand the
sensitiveness and critical nature of the situation and must proactively
demonstrate that they are true ideological workers. It is the need of time that
every member of the Movement must hold themselves accountable to their
conscience and analyse whether our ideological thoughts have weakened or not?
Our priority is still the Movement, its ideology and the attainment of the cause
OR our personal interests have superseded? Addressing the members of Central
Committee of APMSO Mr Hussain advised that in current scenario heavy
responsibilities are upon APMSO, therefore, its character must be intellectual
and non-sentimental. He reminded that all workers must maintain their unity and
observe exemplary discipline.
