Altaf supports JKLF's decision to cross LoC

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has supported the decision of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) of crossing Line of Control on October 4, said a JKLF press release. The MQM Parliamentary leader in Sindh Assembly, Dr Farooq Sattar, stated this to a delegation of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front, which called on the MQM leaders and workers at hunger strike camp outside the Karachi Press Club on Thursday. Dr Farooq Sattar told the MQM chief over telephone about a message from JKLF chairman Amanullah Khan, requesting MQM to extend their support to the JKLF announcement with regard to crossing the LoC. Dr Sattar informed the delegation that Altaf Hussain had supported the JKLF programme and assured that the MQM workers would also take part in the march, provided the state operation against the party was halted by October 4, said a JKLF press release.
