 Taliban are bent upon exploding shrines of religious saints in Punjab and Sindh as they did in Pakhtunkhwah.

 Muslims who possess contrary beliefs and thoughts as those of Taliban are being slaughtered like
animals by uttering the Great name of GOD (Allah-0- Akbar)

 According to Taliban Supreme court and High court are anti-Shariah and democracy is irreligious

 Nizam-e-Adl Regulation is not Shariah but the beginning of Talibanisation in whole of the country

 Telephonic address to the mammoth gathering of Religious Scholars hailing from all over the country.

MQM Leader Mr. Altaf Hussain has vigorously appealed to all those Ulema, Intellectuals, Columnists, Journalists, Human rights Organizations, Advocates and all peace loving citizens who believe in humanity to come forward in action virtually against the pseudo Ulema, fulfill their religious obligations and join hands together against the scourge of Taliban in order to save Pakistan from utter destruction.

MQM is not against Islaimc Sharia but self-imposed Shariah by Taliban will not be accepted at any cost, passed these remarks while making telephonic address to a huge recognized gathering of authentic religious scholars and thinkers at the Pearl Continental Hotel on Sunday, in Karachi.

In his phonic address while quoting verses from Holy Quran, Mr.Altaf Hussian narrated that according to verses 11 and 12 of Surah Al-Baqrah of Quran GOD says that, “Oh, believers, amongst you there will be a faction of people who will create fuss, fear and consternation and when asked what are you doing that they will reply that we are making reforms so, make sure that they are those who are destroyers but unaware of their wrong deeds”

Likewise, in Surah Al Baqrah, GOD says that, “who will be more cruel than the one who stops believers from taking the name of GOD in the place of worship of GOD and desert these worship places (mosques) and they verily do not possess any right to even enter into these places as for those ignominy awaits in this world and severe punishment in hereafter”, Mr. Altaf Hussian pointed out by gleaning from Holy Quran.

By quoting further he went on to say that in Surah Hujjrat, GOD says, “Believers are brothers to each other so make peace between them and be GOD fearing so that benediction of Almighty GOD could visit you” and in Surah Aal-e-Imran GOD says that  “ get hold of rope of ALLAH with firm hands and don’t create dissension amongst yourselves”

Mr. Altaf Hussain elaborated that Quran is a book of wisdom and in this book GOD had pointed out 1400 years ago that there will be sects and factions and there will be bunch of people who will stop believers from visiting worship places and taking name of GOD

Mr. Altaf Hussain said that Pakistan is a country of followers of Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Shafai and Imam Hunbal likewise people of Shiite sect follow Imam Jaffar Sadiq ,all these Imams (Supreme religious Heads of respective sects ) whenever felt necessary expressed their point of view in the light of Holy Quran and Hadith by recording their dissenting notes and never ever aspired to criticize each other so, when those towering religious entities did not quarrel ,never decreed to kill the other and never permitted for exploding Mosques with explosives then who were we amongst out of the followers of those Great Imams to allow killing of our brothers having differing views of religious thoughts and explode their religious places with bombs?

He said in Surah Nisa GOD says that “whoever kills a Muslim with intention so he will be put in hell, will face wrath of GOD and big punishment will be meted out to him”

He said, propaganda is rife that MQM and Altaf Hussain are heretic, so let it be clear that we were believers in the name of Kalma Tayyabba, oneness of GOD and firm believer in Quran and last Prophet Muhammad ( Peace be upon Him) and we do remain so even today.

He further said that no Muslim can go against Shariah and same goes for MQM as we recognize and accept Shariah in its true and original colour and format but we will never accept exploding bombs in mosques and ImamBargah( worship places ), slaughtering Muslims like animals on the ground and beheading them in the name of self-constructed and self-imposed  Shariah by savage Taliban.

While narrating events of brutal terrorism being perpetrated by Taliban, Mr. Altaf Hussain said that Taliban have converted Paradise-like valley of Swat into hell as people who opposed Taliban were brutally murdered and their dead bodies were hung publicly in the “Green Chowk” of Mengora situated in Swat and that is why the Green chowk’s name has taken the name of “Slaughter Chowk”,NOW!!!  Thus,Taliban punishing innocent people of the region through their self-inflicted Shariah and courts.

A few days ago barbaric Taliban whipped an innocent girl publicly by laying her on the ground as she was alleged for having incestuous relations and the boy with whom such “illegal” relations were attributed by Taliban was an Electrician and went inside home in order to put electricity in order upon calling by the inmates of the home

By quoting a report published by Global Research on 8^th of April, 2009, he said that report reflects that as a matter of fact, the girl was not whipped because she committed a “wrong deed” but she had refused to marry son of Muslim Khan the Spokesman of Taliban

He said Taliban slaughtering innocent people who possess differing views to that of Taliban like animals and, hence, we condemn 100 times as well as in strongest possible terms the self-made shariah of Taliban

He pointed out that barbaric Taliban are not only beheading people hailing from different walks of life such as saints, mystics, human rights activists, journalists , teachers but also those moderate women and NGOs who are questioning their deadly and barbaric acts and Taliban are bent upon killing those women and representatives of NGOs mercilessly.

On the 6^th of April in Mansehra District, three women belonging to an NGO were kidnapped and then after killing them brutally their dead bodies were thrown in the jungle of Shinkiari.Likewise, in Mardan an NGO office was blasted which resulted in the death of a woman, just four days ago.

In a yet another similar event of utmost brutality a Councilor Shaheen was put to death by Taliban who hailed from Garhi ( Gujjar Mardan )-union council, while reports of the similar savage and barbaric acts came to the fore from Hattian,Sher Garh,Lund Khud and Takht Bhai.

Mr. Altaf Hussain made it clear that Nizam-e-Adl Regulation is not a Sharia in itself but a self-imposed and self made system of Taliban in the name of Isalm and that is just the beginning of barbaric concept and system of Talibanisation in entire length and breadth of the country.A so-called Muslim group enforced its nefarious system on gun point so if all various schools of thoughts started asking for enforcing their versions and brands of theology then where the process will stop, so to say?

He further said that acceptance and enforcement of Taliban system is negation of the Constitution of Pakistan. He asked that if 1973’s Constitution which was adopted unanimously by all sects and religious groups and unislaimc then.

By citing examples of exploding shrines of saints and religious people at the hands of Taliban, He mentioned that In MalaKand division Taliban were not only establishing their sway through their self-styled Shariah but also killing religious thinkers and followers who were opposing Taliban’s so-called Islam.

So far, as many as 23 elder people have had been brutally killed at the hands of Taliban. In the Month of January an elder of the region named Saint Samiullah Shah was mercilessly murdered by Taliban and after his burial by his devotees the barbaric Taliban dug his dead body up out of grave and hung it with an electricity pole, publicly!!

He said, would you believe that 48 hours had not gone by after the so-called peace treaty was struck in Swat that yet another elder religious entity Saint Syed Shareefullah Shah was murdered extremely brutally. Taliban were not only killing the people coming from Jafria and Brelvi sects but also exploding the holy shrines of those saints which were established and survived dust of the time for centuries in NWFP province of Pakistan.

On 8^th of March, Taliban bombed the 300 years old shrine of famous Pushto mystic poet Rehman Baba!!

Likewise two other shrines were bombed and a number of shrines including that of Hazrat Peer Baba in Buner and three others were occupied and locked by Taliban!

These savage Taliban attempted to explode very famous shrine of Hazrat Imam Bari situated in Islamabad a few days ago but their move was foiled by Islamabad Police.

A terrorist was arrested from whose possession 500 Kilo grams explosive materials and 15 exploding detonators were recovered.

It is pertinent to mention here that, he said two years ago a massive suicidal attack was carried out on the same famous shrine of Hazrat Imam Barri which had resulted in the death of nearly 50 innocent devotees and people were injured.

Mr. Altaf Hussain said that Taliban were bent upon exploding shrines of famous saints in Sindh and Punjab as they did in NWFP and thus, shrines of the stature and prominence of such as Bullhay Shah, Sheikh Ali Hajveri,Hazrat Data Gunj Buksh,Sheikh Rukn-e-Alam,Hazrat Mian Meer, Hazrat Bahauddin Zakria, Shah Jamal in Punjab and shrines of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Sachal Sarmast, Hazrat Shah Aqeeq,Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ashabi and Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi are in grave danger at the hands of Taliban

Thus, Mr. Altaf Hussain sought attention of all those who want protection of these centuries old holy shrines that they must gird up their loins to protect these shrines of famous saints and religious scholars otherwise as savage Taliban blasted shrines of Rehman Baba and others in NWFP and locked many of them at their sweet will so they may do so in the Provinces of Sindh and Punjab with the holy places of great religious poets, thinkers and saints.

Mr. Altaf Hussain said that terrorists of Taliban are attacking police check posts in Hingo and the other day 27 police officials were martyred by Taliban at a Police Check post. Dozens of people were martyred and severely injured in the attacks at Marriot Hotel in Islamabad and in an arms factory at wahh cantt. He asked, were they not Muslims who got perished in these brutal and inhuman attacks??

He pointed out that Almighty GOD says in Holy Quran, “blood of one Muslim cannot be shed by another as it is totally unislaimc”. Are the terrorists of Taliban not committing violations of Holy Quran by murdering their fellow Muslims?, He asked

He inquired of Religious Scholars attending the Conference that was it permitted and justified to explode worship places of the people of the sect of jaffria and killing them intentionally and at will and killing people of other sects and blasting their worship places (mosques)? Upon which all the Ulema and religious Scholars present on the occasion shouted and exclaimed in unison, “ No, it is neither permitted nor justified from any definition of any law and humanity as it is totally against the injunctions of the sacred and peace-loving religion of Islam”

Mr. Altaf Hussain said that MQM is striving for universal brotherhood and communal harmony while Sufi Muhammad-Head of of Nifaz-e-Shariat-e-Muhammadi( self-styled Organisation responsible for enforcing shariat Muhammadi) has decreed that wearing only black turban is allowed while other are  forbidden in Islam, Supreme court and High court are anti-shariah courts in nature while democracy is an “ irreligious” system of governance!!!

Taliban has also proclaimed that if any one wants to marry then permission must be sought from Taliban likewise no male can divorce his wife without seeking prior permission from Taliban

He asked all the Ulemas and religious scholars that they witness anti-Islamic and anti-shariah activities of Taliban on their TV and also go through their black deeds in daily newspapers then till what times our religious scholars will keep on viewing these extremely painful scenes while sitting in their seminaries and homes and pay lip service to such naked brutality??

Was this not their religious obligation and duty to get people acquainted and familiarize with the “captivated” spirit of Islam-the religion of peace and understanding he enquired?

Crying need of the hour is that our Islamic scholars must decide if they want self-styled shariah of Taliban or the real Islamic shariah??

Which is dear to us, Taliban and their terrorism or the safety and integrity of our beloved homeland of Pakistan?? He asked categorically

He requested Ulemas and religious scholars present on the occasion to spread true and original message of Islam and must come forward to counter the rising menace of Talibanisation and join hands together against the so-called pseudo Ulemas and tell people about their misdeeds and wrong perceptions of Islam as being propounded by their own brand of Islam which, in fact, has nothing to do with actual and peaceful religion of Islam

Mr. Altaf Hussain appealed to all those religious scholars, intellectuals, human rights organizations, journalists, columnists, elders and all peace-loving citizens to come forward against the so-called Ulemas and play their due role and perform their religious duties in order to save Pakistan from the scourge of Talibanisation by joining hands together against it in a unified manner.

He clarified that MQM is not against Islamic Shariah but MQM will not accept Taliban’s self-styled Shariah at any cost

He lamented that against talibanisation no political party is raising its voice as only MQM and Altaf Hussain are struggling to raise their voice against the deadly poison of Talibanisation

The majority of people in MQM are Muslims but it includes people of minorities in its fold, too, he pointed out.

He stated that MQM workers are protecting people of all sects and worship places by putting their own lives at stake.

He said the MQM workers will provide protection not only to Muslim worship places but belonging all religion including Christians, Hindus, Sikhs and will fulfill their duties as Pakistani and as human being.

He said that now it was the time for all Ulemas to join hands together and resolve to take concrete and unified action against Taliban if they tried to enter in Sindh as our Prophet has given us the right to defend and we must use it with complete honesty and sincerity and we will, Insah Allah.
