suicidal attacks is against the teachings of Islam

Those elements who are supporting suicidal attacks in order to support
religious extremists are the enemies of Islam and Pakistan

Feudals and Waderas are in the run for favours and gains instead of saving the country

Founder and Leader of the MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has pointed out that survival and integrity of Pakistan has been jeopardized severely and not the Feudals and waderas but only the working and poor classes of country can save it from destruction. He said that in order to save the country and to put a check on spread of Talibanisation in Punjab, people of Punjab would have to come forward.

He said this remarks while speaking to workers, elders, women, sympathizers and students over telephone in Distrcits of Mianwali,Khushahab, Bhalwapur,Hafizabad, MandiBahauddin of Punjab on Friday.

Mr. Altaf Hussain paid glowing tributes to workers of all districts of Punjab for observing day of condemnation and taking out protest rallies against the flogging of an innocent girl in swat

He further said that on the one hand Taliban are spreading terrorism in the name of Islam and making suicidal attacks on army, police, frontier constabulary, worship places, official buildings and killing officials while on the other hand in England and other western countries Pakistanis are being hauled up in the name of terrorism and that is all creating very bad name for the country.

He said due to load shedding, price-hike and unemployment people are suffering from acute hardships and the ominous effects of global economic crises are also being felt and reflected on the economy of Pakistan.

In these circumstances the million dollar questions are who is providing ammunition and logistic support to these extremists Taliban and who is funding them??

He said suicidal attacks in mosques and Imambargahs (worship places) to kill worshippers is against the teachings of Islam.

He said those elements who are supporting religious fanatics in their heinous acts of suicidal attacks are not only the open enemies of the sacred religion of Islam and Pakistan but also trying to dismember the country.

He said that religious fanatics have also infiltrated into Punjab and they are bent upon creating hurdles in the smooth acquisition of education by women in Punjab by burning their schools and colleges and want to deprive them from right of seeking jobs and employments.

He said that religion of Islam asserts, very clearly, sanctity and respect of women and according to the teachings of our prophet (PBUH) seeking of knowledge is compulsory for every man and woman, thus, all those elements who are in the denial of the rights of education of women in Islam in fact violating the teachings of Islam.

Mr. Altaf Hussain went on to say that MQM is the only political party in Pakistan which belongs to the working and middle classes of the society and there is no feudal lord in it.

He further said that international media has published list of affluent/wealthy people of Pakistan which contains almost all political leaders of the country but axcept Altaf Hussain.

He said MQM is the political party of Pakistan which serves masses without any distinction and difference amongst them and when cataclysmic earthquake occurred in Azad Kashmir then MQM was the only party which helped out and served the hapless and helpless people for months in affected areas with total devotion and commitment.

He said the very existence and survival of Pakistan is at stake and in grave danger but all Political parties and their Pundits, Feudals and Waderas is looking for power and gains instead of saving country and plundering its wealth with both hands

He said Pakistan cannot be saved by these feudals and waderas but only by its working and middle class segments and the crying need of the hour is that now working, middle classes of Punjab must come to the fore in order to save our dear homeland from further catastrophe and ruination and must take a firm stance against malaise of Talibanisation like a solid rock.

He said MQM is striving to create awareness amongst the masses of Punjab so that brave youth of Punjab could take a united front against the conspiracy of dismembering the country by rendering it unsuccessful and ineffective and whenever needed could also protect the sanctity of mothers, sisters and daughters of Punjab

Mr. Altaf Hussain said that in order to reinforce and organize the organizational set-up of MQM in Punjab re-organisation would be done soon and a convention will be convened of all the Districts of Punjab in this connection.

Mr. Altaf Hussain urged the office bearers and workers of MQM in Hafizabad, Mianwali, Bhawalpur, Mandi Bhauddin and Khoshab to extend their mass contact campaign and extend his good wishes to the mothers, sisters and elders and tell them that in order to save Pakistan and to save Punjab from the scourge of Talibanisation and to save sanctity of the mothers, sisters and daughters of Punjab we would have to join hands together and would have to work on our own basis so that through collective and joint efforts menace of evil could be defeated.
