Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr. Altaf Hussain said that the safety & integrity is in grave danger and the time has come that we should rise above the political gains and struggle to save Pakistan.

He said this in his telephonic conversations to the workers, office bearers, students & ladies of different districts, Bahawalnagar, Shikarpur, Rahimyar Khan, Khanewal & Kot Addu.

At this occasion many political workers, student, women & elders announced their willingness to be part of MQM.

Talking at these gatherings Mr. Altaf Hussain said that the terror activities that the Taliban is carrying out in the name of Islam is not doing any service to Islam but contrary to this it is defaming Islam & giving Islam a wrong perception & name throughout the world. He questioned that what kind of Islam is this where helpless worshippers are martyred in the Imam Bargah in Chakwal? What kind of Islam is this where Friday worshippers are martyred in Jamrud? The mosque is blown up? Girl’s schools & colleges are blown to pieces by bombs? Innocent girls of the nation are flogged in public squares?The Army, Rangers FC & police post camps & convoys being made targets by the suicide bombers & being martyred & injured what kind of Islam is this?

He continued that this is not Islam but blatant terrorism & no peace loving or one who believes in the respect of humanity will approve of this barbarism. Mr. Altaf Hussain said the Taliban’s objective is not service to Islam but to dismantle the country, he continued that after the northern region Taliban have now started their activities in the Punjab and want Talibinization of Punjab also & like the mothers and daughters of the northern region the mothers & daughters of Punjab will be made the targets of injustice and barbarism.

Mr. Altaf Hussain addressing the ladies present in the gathering said that he assures his mothers and sisters that MQM Punjab workers will not at any cost, allow any injustice & barbarism to be committed on their mothers & sisters.

He also said that this is a sorry state of affairs that at this juncture the country is surrounded by all kinds of threats & people with self interest are busy in the politics of power. He said Pakistan will not be saved by the Feudal or the landlord but it will be the Poor and middle class who will be the saviors.

Mr. Altaf Hussain thanked the people for their response on a very short notice – their peaceful rallies and their condemnation against the flogging of 16 years old innocent and helpless girl in Swat publically by the Taliban. He paid tribute to the MQM Punjab’s all district office bearers, workers and well wishers, mothers sisters and elders.

Mr. Altaf Hussain welcomed the students, political workers and ladies for becoming part of MQM and he congratulated them for this gesture.

Brutal murder of Baloch Leaders is a blatant injustice

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr. Altaf Hussain said that the brutal murder of Baloch Leaders is a blatant injustice and we are with the Baloch people in their time of sorrow and our heart felt sympathies are with them. MQM has appealed to the people of the entire nation that on the 12^th of April they should wear black arm band in order to show their unity with the people of Balochistan. This he said in a telephonic conversation to MQM Balochistan Organizer Yousuf Shahwani.

Yousuf Shahwani brought to Mr. Altaf Hussain’s notice that the unrest and extreme sorrow found in the people for the brutal murder of the baloch leaders Ghulam Muhammad Baloch, Mr. Sher Muhammad Baloch and Mr. Lala Munir.

Mr. Altaf Hussain said that MQM’s workers and Haq Parast masses vehemently and in strong words condemn this brutal act. They consider that this contemptible incident is a heinous  conspiracy against the country and all patriotic people should condemn it.

Mr. Altaf Hussain reiterated that we call injustice, Injustice and condemn it. He appealed to the masses that they should remain peaceful and not to loose their patience and endurance.

Founder and Leader of the MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain paid tribute to the MQM’s Balochistan office bearers and workers in his telephonic conversation to Yousuf Shahwani for the peaceful rallies and Day of condemnation on the appeal of MQM on the barbaric act of flogging a  16 year old innocent girl in the public square by the Taliban. Mr. Altaf Hussain  also asked to praise and pay tribute to all Baloch Workers.
