MQM’S PHILOSOPHY IS SPREADING THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY

 ALTAF HUSSAIN

London – 27th April 2006...MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has stated that MQM’s philosophy has now spread from Sindh to NWFP, Punjab and Balochistan and even Azad Kashmir; and the MQM will contest the forthcoming general elections of 2007 from all over Pakistan. He was addressing the general workers meeting of MQM Ladies Wing in Karachi. On this occasion he also introduced and welcomed Nadia Gabol, niece of PPP leader Sardar Nabeel Gabol, who has joined the Muttahida Quami Movement. Ms Nadia Gabol also addressed the gathering in English, Balochi and Urdu languages. Mr Hussain said that MQM’s philosophy is not only spreading throughout the country but also becoming popular and the people of Pakistan are uniting under the banner of MQM. He asserted that MQM will contest elections from all over Pakistan and its candidates will be successful with the support of the people.

While narrating the history of MQM’s struggle Mr Hussain said that thousands of MQM workers have been extra-judicially murdered and tortured; whereas thousands were unlawfully incarcerated and many are still missing. Mr Hussain said that MQM is struggling for the abolishment of the medieval feudal system from the country; as a result it has been facing the conspiracies which continue even today in one way or other. On the recent tragedy at Nishtar Park, Mr Hussain commented that in the month of Rabi Ul Awwal, the suicidal bomb attack killed and injured renowned religious scholars; however, many parties are still accusing the MQM without any evidence to support their claim. He asked the participants if they would pay attention to this malicious and false propaganda campaign. They replied, “No”. He paid tributes to the sacrifices of the MQM womenfolk in the righteous struggle of the MQM and praised their courage, which is unparallel in history. He said as the general elections are nearing, the elements conspiring against the MQM have intensified their activities. He reminded the righteous workers, elders and womenfolk of the MQM to fail these conspiracies with their courage and determination. He further instructed the workers to take MQM’s message and philosophy to every home and inform them about the MQM’s manifesto so as to further strengthen the party. At this occasion he welcomed Ms Nadia Gabol for joining the MQM and said he hopes that she will use her abilities and capabilities for spreading the righteous philosophy of the MQM and women rights. He stressed upon  each and every member of MQM Ladies Wing to perform their duties with unity and discipline and not to become part of any grouping; as this is lethal to the Movement. In the end he prayed for the success of the Movement’s struggle and strength to serve the people.
