ARMED TERRORISTS SHOT DEAD MQM JOINT SECTOR INCHARGE MOHAMMAD TARIQ ALI KHAN

Karachi...23 April 2005 The MQM Joint Sector Incharge of Liaquatabad Mr. Mohammad Tariq Ali Khan 42 was shot dead this morning while he was waiting for a bus at Naseerabad Gulbarg in Karachi. Two terrorists on motorcycle opened indiscriminate firing upon Mr. Khan who received fatal injuries on his head and body and passed away on his way to the hospital. The Coordination Committee members arrived at the hospital as soon as the news reached them. The deceased leaves a widow, son and a daughter behind.

The MQM leader Mr. Altaf Hussain has expressed his deep grief at this brutal murder and has conveyed his sympathies and condolences to the bereaved.
 

The MQM Coordination Committee has condemned this act of brutality and rearmed it a conspiracy to destroy the peaceful atmosphere in Karachi. Those responsible for this heinous crime are enemies of peace and of Pakistan. They appealed to the President Gen. Pervaiz Musharraf, Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Sindh Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim to take serious note of the brutal murder and arrest the culprits for exemplary punishment
